Tess nodded, excitement and nervousness bubbling in equal measure up through her chest. She’d never done anything like this before, but if ever there was a time for taking risks, now was it. Last night, she’d felt like she hadn’t done anything exciting enough to tell Remy about in all the years since she graduated. Today was sure to make a good story—and Tess was even more excited that instead of telling Remy about it later, she’d be sharing it with her now.
